I've spent 25 years helping organisations, from defence to renewables, find where work gets stuck, build the right thing, and get people to use it. I also built synoia, an app for keeping what a firm knows in one place.

AI has made that work faster than ever. It has also made it riskier when nobody is steering. Everyday Advantage is how I bring the same discipline to businesses close to home: one person who owns it, a bench of specialists I trust, and plain answers about what is worth doing.

Everyday Advantage is a trading name of MilUX Ltd, which Matt founded in 2019. MilUX works in defence and security. Everyday Advantage brings the same methods and standards to firms outside it, with separate clients, the same person leading, and the specialist associates Matt has met and worked with beyond defence and security.

Why we start with the work, not the build.

We've seen how AI projects go wrong. Someone builds a set of automations, quickly and impressively. They run on the builder's accounts, so the firm can't see or change them. Usage bills arrive that nobody expected. A few people try the tools, then drift back to the old way. And when the builder moves on, nobody can explain how the process works.

We do it the other way round: find the job that's actually slow, set the rules, build only what that job needs, on your accounts, with your people trained to run it. Then we check the numbers moved.

If AI won't help with something, we'll tell you. Saying no to the wrong work is part of the job.

We recommend what fits your business. We take no referral fees from the AI suppliers we recommend, and nothing from associates. We're a Businessmap partner; we don't resell it, and we'll say so if it ever comes up in your work.

We turn up

By video, or in person at your premises or our office in Andover. We meet the people doing the work, and we're back next month.
